Subsurface Studies and Evaluation

At Shoreline Inc., we specialise in comprehensive subsurface studies and evaluation. Our suite of services covers everything from exploring near field opportunities and new basins to effectively managing producing fields while mitigating risks. With our expertise, we provide clients with detailed proposals that offer insights into the size and quality of their assets, quick-win opportunities, and the associated risks and limitations. Our recommendations include optimised well drilling strategies, cost-effective surface facilities, and a focus on maximising returns while prioritising health, safety, and environmental integrity.

Near Field Exploration (NFE)

Our advance geophysical skills and tools ensure that you receive the most complete and accurate assessment of your exploration assets through detailed analysis of key elements of petroleum system in your basins. Shoreline Inc’s geophysicists conduct seismic studies in close collaboration with other geoscience and reservoir engineering disciplines to identify and mature drillable exploration prospects, create risked prospect inventory and provide enhanced resource assessments.

We use seismic technology to interprete 2D/3D seismic data, identify exploration targets, select drilling locations and assess potential in-place hydrocarbon volumes.

Integrated Field Studies and Reservoir characterisation

Our integrated reservoir characterisation and field development studies can help energy companies and investors to minimise development risks and optimise values from existing and new development projects.

Through these studies, critical subsurface analyses are integrated to develop a comprehensive picture of reservoir’s potential. as well as its challenges. Detailed models provide guidance that enables the comparison of opportunities, optimise design and management decisions, and create a field development plan that can mitigate risks and drive value.

Integrated Reservoir Modelling (IRM)

Through our advanced and best-in-class techniques, our geologists/geomodellers, petrophysicists and geophysicists build fit-for-purpose geological models to provide a static (and complete) description of the reservoir, prior to production.

The integrated 3D static models that we build honour all available subsurface data and can be reliably used to predict spatial distribution of reservoir and fluid properties and their dynamic behavior.

Through these models, conceptual but optimised development plan for the hydrocarbon can be established, based on reliable production forecast and history matching (where their is existing production).

Uncertainty Management

Our specialised team at Shoreline Inc. excels in uncertainty management, providing comprehensive solutions to identify, assess, and mitigate risks for our clients. We diligently coordinate strategies to handle potential uncertainties, ensuring our clients are well-prepared with effective mitigation plans should any subsurface risks arise.
